Description

This beautifully located family friendly property has wonderful views of Oban Bay and McCaigs Tower and is within walking distance of all local amenities. Located in the beautiful town of Oban with its excellent shopping, leisure facilities, ferry terminal & train station makes this an excellent base for your holiday.

This spacious second floor accommodation offers 4 wonderful bedrooms: 1 king-size with sea views and en-suite shower room with WC. 1 twin with sea views, 1 double and 1 further king-size.
Bathroom: with shower over bath and WC.

Location

Split into North and South, Oban makes a brilliant touring base. Outwith the town you could spend days exploring castles, gardens, villages, beaches, forests, and fun and unusual attractions, from the power station hollowed into a mountain to boat trips where you can spot basking sharks and a host of other sea life. Oban itself is compact and it's easy to get round on foot. There are plenty of small galleries and independent stores to browse through, as well as the centrally-located local distillery, chocolate shop, and museum. Wander along the seafront to the ruined Dunollie Castle and the sandy beaches beyond - the sunsets here are phenomenal. When it's time to relax or refuel, take your pick from the town's offering of pubs, cafés and restaurants.

Shops, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance of the property. No car is required to explore the town of Oban. There are bus and train links as well as the harbour with ferries over to the islands, however a car would be required to visit the surrounding areas.

We loved this beautiful spacious apartment so much and cannot say enough good things about the view or our time in Oban! Beds were comfortable and everything was clean, neat, and organised! If you are new to Oban, be warned that the apartment is up the hill and walking up and down to town is a short distance but quite steep. We were easily able to get a taxi to transport my father in law each day and the rest of us managed just fine. The view and the apartment were totally worth the hike.

We had a wonderful stay here in Oban. There were 5 adults and it was completely comfortable for us all. The view is amazing and it’s just a short walk to the McCaig Tower. The walk to town was an easy downhill walk and the walk back up the hill built some muscles. I’d stay again any time. Also, the staff was amazingly responsive and helpful.

Great apartment - comfortable, spacious, very warm, well equipped, and with unbelievable views. Would stay here again. Steep walk back up the hill from town, but its not far. No problem parking right outside on the street.

Loved the view from the living room and 2 of the bedrooms out over the harbour and across to the Isle of Mull. The accommodation was excellent - great seating in the lounge, loved the stove, good family dining space and well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms were very comfortable and warm.
