Description

**NEW PROPERTY**

The Stables is a three bedroom retreat situated within the Eastertyre estate, minutes from the small village of Logierait and 10 minutes to the nearby popular town of Pitlochry.

Located within the grounds of Eastertyre Estate on the banks above the River Tay. This period property which adjoins the main manor house was once part of the grand estate, owned by three generations of the Crabbie family, known for the company John Crabbie & Co, with its ginger wine and blended whiskies.

The three bedroom converted stable block which has been furnished to an exceptionally high standard sleeps 8 people creating an idyllic escape with family and close friends. The quiet setting, great location and stunning views makes The Stables a well-situated property to explore Perthshire and the many rural activities nearby.

As you enter the property and through the hall, you will find the large open plan space comprising living area and kitchen separated by a large farmhouse style dining table and chairs. The kitchen features modern appliances including induction hob/oven and dishwasher with spectacular views out of all of the windows which look across pasture land and down to the Tay. It is also very common to see Red Squirrels, Deer and Eagles meters away from the property.
The living area comprises comfortable sofa seating, multi fuel stove for those colder nights and wall mounted SmartTV. The Stables also has WI-FI throughout.

A convenient downstairs bathroom features WC, wash basin and large shower with low profile shower tray.

On the first floor you will find three bedrooms, all with free standing storage, bedside tables, integral lighting, and USB charging ports. The bedroom configuration comprises a King bedroom with double sofa bed plus en-suite. The en-suite offers a walk-in shower with low profile tray, WC and wash basin. Further bedrooms feature a King bedroom and a twin bedroom, allowing a total sleeping occupancy of 8. (The twin bedroom can be made into a Super-king bed if required by prior arrangement)

A further shared family bathroom which is accessed via the landing features a bath, WC, and wash basin.

Externally the property has a garden space complete with table and chair seating for 4. There is a secure barn facility for bike / canoe storage, plus clothesline for drying wetsuits and an outdoor tap.

Parking is provided. The property is situated within a courtyard area where there are neighbouring properties.

The Stables welcomes up to 2 dogs. Charges apply. Dogs must be kept on leads within the property grounds.

*If you are also looking for a smaller property alongside The Stables, the neighbouring property 'The Gardeners cottage' sleeps up to 4 guests. Using both properties, up to 12 guests can split between the two cottages*

We had a lovely family stay, booked quite last minute and hosts set up the travel cot and high chair and beds for 4 adults. Location was lovely nice and quiet, we saw a red squirrel from the window and could hear the deer roaring across the Glen. The pictures really don't do it justice, the sofas are different than the ones in the pictures with 2 nice button back armchairs. A lovely stay and a brilliant well equipped kitchen. We just had a little issue with the log burner but the place was perfectly warm without.

We had an amazing stay - the quality of the lodgings and appointments were first rate and the setting (beautiful farm land with highland cows!) was beautiful. The location is convenient to Aberfeldy and Pitlochry and is a reasonable drive to Stirling, Inverness, and Edinburgh (45 minutes to 1 1/2hours). Our hosts were inviting, informative, and generous with their time. We can’t recommend The Stables enough!!

A really well equipped and maintained apartment in a great rural Perthshire location. We were 8 (including 2 children) and a dog, on a weekend break. There was bags of space for us all with all the equipment and facilities needed for our stay. The stables have been well renovated and retain a lot of their original look and feel. All was spotlessly clean.

The place was very beautiful. It was well furnished, with a cosy feeling. The whole house had a beautiful vibe to it, while also having modern attributes. The kitchen had everything you needed and the bathrooms were spotless. There were nearby villages that had many things to do with good places to eat. Lastly, the owners were extremely responsive and provided detailed information. This is one of the best Airbnbs I have ever been to, therefore I would highly recommend this place.

Ideal high-quality period property to explore the Perthshire countryside and attractions. The location is excellent being within close proximity to the major road (A9) yet secluded along the Tay River valley. The property is renovated to an exceptionally high standard and maintained meticulously. The owners have taken great care to convert this former stable block into a modern well equipped yet rustic dwelling.
