Description

Ty-Gwyn is superbly located in the tranquil area of Capeluchaf, an area of outstanding natural beauty nestled on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

The stone-built cottage has been lovingly restored to provide cosy accommodation for up to seven people. Featuring 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Double and 3 Singles) makes Ty Gwyn the perfect location for couples & families alike looking to escape & explore the beautiful surroundings on offer. [Note the 3 singles are a bedroom located off the main king bedroom]

The equipped kitchen features solid worktops, cooker & hob, fridge / freezer, washing machine & microwave.

The lounge & dining area feature comfy sofa seating, log burning stove (logs NOT provided), TV and Stereo / Bluetooth speaker. The adjoining dining area features a large table and chairs creating a communal setting between the lounge & dining area.

The family bathroom with shower and separate bath is also on the ground floor. A separate WC is located next to the porch.

Outside is a large open garden with idyllic views over the Valley, on a clear day you can also make out Glyder Fawr, the highest peak in the Glyderau range.

At the rear of the property you will find access to 20 acres of farmland that can be explored by the adventurous (long grass....& its Wales so bring waterproofs!) & is a great place to spot many species of wildlife.

Please note the driveway from the road & up to Ty-Gwyn itself is very narrow & unsuitable for wide vehicles. For cyclists using a road bike, the track leading to the property would be unsuitable for a road bike straight from the house due to the uneven ground. Road bike cyclists would need to drive down to the bottom of the road to then offload bikes. Mountain bikes would be fine to set off straight from the property.

Location

The country lanes in the area are virtually traffic-free and ideal for keen walkers and cyclists. The nearest Blue Flag beach, at Dinas Dinlle is 10 minutes by car. Great location for exploring the Llyn Peninsula, Snowdonia and Anglesey. The cottage itself was secluded and peaceful. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.

Beautiful peaceful cottage with everything thought of to make our stay a home from home . Tight access to get to property but I drive a kuga and had no problems. It’s an easy drive to the coast , snowdonia and Anglesey and much more , but also far enough out to give you complete time out.
