Wildcat Lodge

Great wee lodge to stay at, very close to everything we wanted to do. The pictures do not do this lodge justice as in person it is much nicer. The lodge had everything needed for our stay and more.

We had a wonderful time at the beautiful Wildcat Lodge! Such a cosy place in a gorgeous setting with thoughtful welcome gifts made this the ideal short getaway. Thank you for letting us enjoy this magical place xx

We absolutely loved our stay - the lodge is perfectly located in really peaceful and beautiful surroundings. There are lovely local walks and it was really easy to get a quick taxi to the Cairngorms car parks for longer hikes in the mountains. The lodge was also well-stocked with everything we needed (dishwasher tablets, towels, soap etc). We wished we’d booked a longer stay and would definitely come back!

We are just home from a long weekend stay. We visit Aviemore annually and thought we would try somewhere new. The lodge was so cosy and has a beautiful forest walk about 15 minutes from it which was great for the dog😊. The neighbourhood is really quiet and peaceful and has a restaurant/pub within 10 minutes away. Really enjoyed our stay here!

A much anticipated second visit as I enjoyed my first stay so much! The perfectly place to unwind and explore the Cairngorms.

We have stayed here a few time before and it does not disappoint. Small but perfect set up, hot tub and great amenities locally make this an excellent spot for a short break.

The location of the lodge was perfect. It was nestled in a peaceful and picturesque setting, surrounded by nature. The serene atmosphere instantly put us at ease and allowed us to truly relax and unwind. One of the highlights of the lodge was undoubtedly the hot tub. It was located on the deck. The hot tub was clean and well-maintained, and the water was always at the perfect temperature. It was an absolute delight to soak in the hot tub while enjoying the tranquility of the surroundings. The lodge also had a well-equipped kitchen, which allowed me to prepare my own meals. Additionally, there was a barbecue grill on the deck, which I took full advantage of to enjoy some delicious outdoor meals. Overall, my stay Wildcat Lodge was nothing short of amazing. It provided the perfect combination of comfort, relaxation, and natural beauty. I would highly recommend this lodge to anyone looking for a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway.

My partner and I stayed a few days at Wildcat Lodge and we loved it. We know the surrounding area quite well, spending a lot of time in the outdoors around Aviemore. But the spot in Boat of Garten where the lodge is located is very special. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful and tranquil. A few hundred yards takes you up to the woods, 2.5 miles from the lodge to Loch Vaa which is easily walkable, and only a few miles into Aviemore itself. The lodge was perfect for the 2 of us, it had everything we needed. The bike shed is ideal, and the hot tub was great after long days in the hills. Sitting in the tub looking up at the old scots pines takes you to new levels of unwinding! Had a great holiday, thank you.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Wildcat Lodge. We love visiting Scotland and this was our first time in Aviemore/Boat of Garten area. Wildcat Lodge was perfect, so many beautiful walks right from the front door in such a peaceful area. Loved the local pub, great food. Also only a 10 minute drive from Aviemore, plenty of activities. The Lodge itself was lovely, well catered for and we felt very comfortable and at home. It would be great to return one day!

A really nice stay in a beautiful area of the country. The hosts went above and beyond to help us and the lodge was cosy and kitted out well with everything we needed.

We had a marvellous time! The cottage was the perfect size for us bring two adults and one large Labrador. It has a great hot tub in a small private garden space, but has wonderful walking and cycling from the door step. There are two great restaurants in Boat of Garten, a well stocked local shop, a bike shop, the steam railway, the Spey river just minutes away. The bed was comfy, bathroom and kitchen clean and tidy and the open plan living space has a wood burning stove. The cottage is in the grounds of a much larger building but still felt very private. We’ll definitely be looking to stay again. Very good value and a most enjoyable break.

A great lodge in an amazing location. Really clean and has everything you could need, the hot tub is great for relaxing tired legs after exploring the Cairngorms. Would highly recommend!

My Husband and I had a wonderful 4 Nt stay at Wildcat Lodge. It was so idyllic & peaceful and just what we had hoped for. The feel of the lodge is so cosy & comfortable. As we were there to celebrate our 20th Anniversary, we felt we had chose so well as the lodge has a lovely romantic feel too. Everything about our stay was fantastic and we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Our 2 dogs Bella & Beau loved there stay too, it was great to have an enclosed outdoor space for them to hangout outside when they wanted too and know they were safe & secure. The location of the lodge is fantastic as it’s off a lovely quiet road in boat of Garten, you are just a short walk away from the village pub, shop and restaurant..and also your on the path for walking into Aviemore which is a wonderful hike. We couldn’t have been happier with our break away and hope to go back again in the future.
